Job Description
About the Role The Desktop System Administrator will support end users, manage IT assets, and help maintain a reliable, secure desktop environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, providing hands-on support, and keeping IT operations running smoothly. What You ll Do Provide desktop support for hardware, software, and network connectivity. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and printers. Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, allocation, and documentation. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding from a device standpoint. Perform routine updates, patches, and security checks on desktops. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues. Maintain clear documentation of processes and resolutions. What We re Looking For 3-5 years of experience in desktop administration or IT support. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory. Hands-on troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. Familiarity with asset tracking tools and basic networking concepts. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently in a part-time onsite role. Nice to Have Prior experience in a corporate IT environment. Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation
