Job Description

IT Support Specialist Position Summary Responsible for maintaining and supporting information technology networks and infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth operation of systems, provides technical support to end users, and assists with onboarding/offboarding processes. Key Responsibilities Serve as an internal point of contact for network-related issues, including support for remote locations Provide helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a timely manner Configure, deploy, and maintain PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices Support and maintain phone systems Coordinate with external vendors for escalations and specialized support Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including system setup and access removal Role Overview This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. The ideal candidate can interpret user-reported problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions efficiently. Success in this role depends on strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and clear communication across a diverse group of internal users and external vendors. A calm, professional demeanor is essential when handling technical challenges. The role involves regular use of computers and standard office equipment, along with occasional physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting equipment (up to 30 pounds).
