Air Monitor has been delivering airflow measurement solutions since 1967. We are the premier air flow measurement solutions provider for the Commercial HVAC, Industrial Process, and Power Generation markets. We are the only dedicated airflow solutions provider with expertise in differential pressure and thermal dispersion measurement technologies. This position combines advanced technical expertise with strong customer-facing communication skills to support field installations, system calibrations, troubleshooting, and the growth of service-related revenue. The role also provides critical support to the sales organization by addressing technical inquiries, preparing quotations, and delivering responsive customer service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform extensive field service on complex instrumentation and airflow measurement systems, including start-up, checkout, calibration, repair, and system modification. Conduct and document testing of products and systems, often requiring improvised procedures, test apparatus, and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve malfunctions. Interpret limited documentation including schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and verbal instructions, applying comprehensive knowledge of airflow system theory and principles. Utilize standard and specialized test equipment such as manometers, DVMs, signal generators, and airflow measurement apparatus. Recommend system or design modifications where documentation is incomplete or improvements are identified. Prepare service reports, test results, charts, and recommendations for internal engineering and management teams. Provide on-site technical support to customers and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams as needed. Travel extensively to customer sites to support installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and service activities. Provide technical phone and email support to customers and sales representatives regarding product selection, applications, troubleshooting, and service needs. Support inside sales activities by assisting with technical evaluations, product recommendations, quotations, and proposal input. Help identify service opportunities, including calibrations, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and aftermarket support. Document customer interactions and technical findings to support sales follow-up, CRM updates, and internal coordination. Act as a technical liaison between customers, field service, engineering, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate responses. Assist with internal sales and service initiatives focused on improving responsiveness, customer engagement, and service revenue growth, consistent with Air Monitor's inside sales and service strategy. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, and airflow measurement systems. Proven ability to perform component-level troubleshooting of electronic systems using the proper tools and equipment with proficiency. Ability to analyze technical problems, develop practical solutions, and communicate findings clearly. Fluency and history with safe working practices and related OSHA requirements. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and internal documentation. Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively with internal teams. Basic computer literacy, including documentation and reporting tools.
Working Conditions:
Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to sit and stand for reasonable periods of time. Visual demands include the ability to look at a computer monitor for extended periods. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with associated hazards. Commitment to

Pay Transparency:
We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
