Full-time Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Management Software Specialist with hands-on experience in residential property management. This role bridges operational expertise and technical proficiency, supporting the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day use of property management systems across our portfolio. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both in a corporate office environment and on-site at various properties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for property management software platforms (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar systems)
• Lead software implementation, configuration, upgrades, and integration projects
• Train on-site and corporate teams on system functionality, best practices, and process improvements
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot system-related issues
• Collaborate with property managers and leadership to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Analyze data and generate reports to support business decisions
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistency across all systems
• Travel to residential properties as needed to support onboarding, audits, or operational initiatives
• Act as a liaison between software vendors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in residential property management (leasing, operations, or management roles)
• 2+ years of experience working with property management software systems in an administrative or specialist capacity
• Strong understanding of property management operations, including leasing, maintenance, accounting, and tenant relations
• Proven ability to train and support diverse teams with varying technical skill levels
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed
• Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple property management platforms
• Background in system implementation or project management
• Familiarity with data reporting tools or business intelligence platforms
• Relevant certifications in property management or software systems
