IT Infrastructure Project Manager / Systems Administrator A growing Connecticut-based manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Project Manager / Systems Administrator to lead a major technology modernization initiative. This role will support critical projects including server replacement, network upgrades, ERP modernization, Microsoft 365 administration, security improvements, and infrastructure planning. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with project management capabilities and be comfortable overseeing initiatives from concept through completion. Responsibilities Lead server and infrastructure upgrade initiatives Administer Microsoft 365 environments Manage networking projects including switches, routers, and connectivity improvements Support ERP migration and system modernization efforts Coordinate vendors, contractors, and project implementation Provide end-user support and technical troubleshooting Assist with security and compliance-related initiatives Develop technology roadmaps and recommended best practices Requirements Strong Windows Server and systems administration experience Networking expertise including routing, switching, and infrastructure support Microsoft 365 administration experience Proven project management and vendor coordination skills Ability to work independently in a small-company environment Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Manufacturing industry experience ERP systems exposure CMMC or compliance-related project experience Infrastructure refresh or modernization project leadership Compensation Competitive compensation anticipated in the $80,000-$100,000 range depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
