The successful candidate will be highly technical and a natural troubleshooter and leader with great customer service instincts. This position will work primarily in our West Hartford office and requires occasional travel to client sites. We are seeking a project technician/engineer to join our Professional Services team. This role requires a strong IT background to understand and address technical challenges. The ideal candidate will be adept at executing projects assigned in alignment with our processes and procedures (Compass Way). Possess a minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, equipped to tackle diverse challenges Preferred certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE, Office 365, VCP, CCNA, and Azure are highly regarded Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider or Consulting environment is preferred Proficiency with systems like ConnectWise and IT Glue is advantageous for seamless operations Collaboration is key; bring your team-oriented mindset to the table Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for clear and concise interactions Driven by growth? technologies Install, troubleshoot, and maintain third-party software solutions such as Datto, Shadow Protect, and Veaam Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewall technologies, including site-to-site VPNs, security services, QoS, high availability, and routing.
