Full Job Description Title:
Information Technology Associate I (Junior)
Clearance Type:
None Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting steps for common technical issues and escalate more complex problems as needed. Provide first level technical support to end users, including account assistance, system access, and general IT inquiries. Monitor system performance and report irregularities or issues to senior team members. Support routine system maintenance, patching, and updates under guidance. Document work performed, including troubleshooting actions, resolutions, and updates to system records. Adhere to established cybersecurity and information assurance protocols to protect system integrity and sensitive data. Assist in maintaining inventory and tracking IT equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure effective and timely IT support across NAVSEA program offices. At least 0-4 years of experience in IT support or a related field. A minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant experience may satisfy degree requirements. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software, fundamental networking concepts, basic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security+ certification.
