Job Description

Systems AdministratorWe are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing servers, supporting infrastructure, and solving complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in system administration with room to grow into more advanced responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments including patching, updates, and performance monitoringAdminister Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and permission structuresSupport virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, including VM creation, tuning, and maintenanceOversee backup operations, disaster recovery testing, and storage systemsAssist with system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projectsMonitor server health, performance metrics, and resource utilizationTroubleshoot server failures, authentication issues, and network-related system problemsMaintain accurate documentation including configurations, diagrams, and SOPsCollaborate with network, help desk, and security teams to resolve escalated support issuesEnsure systems comply with organizational security policies and standards
