Participate in the end-to-end process of obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) and the activities required to maintain that authority. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs tailored through the RMF; identify tactics, techniques, and procedures used by malicious actors and recommend remediation strategies. Apply information security policies, methods, standards, FISMA, and NIST standards and practices to organizational information systems. Perform all functional duties independently in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks leading to successful accomplishment of assigned duties. Required Qualifications Over 3 years of systems administration experience supporting Windows and Linux environments. Must hold an active Secret security clearance. Demonstrated experience with STIG compliance, security controls implementation, and security incident handling per JSIG. Experience supporting RMF processes and ATO maintenance. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with Department of War (D0W) Enterprise Networks. Strong understanding of DoW Cybersecurity and Information Assurance processes; experience with secure DevSecOps practices. Experience with virtualization technologies, containerized applications, GPU-accelerated computing resources, and modern system monitoring tools; familiarity with Automation/AI (A/AI), Modeling and Simulation (ModSim), or large language model (LLM) systems in air-gapped environments. Education Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Degree requirements may be substituted with an applicable Associate's degree and additional years of relevant experience.
