Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Network and Computer Systems Manager to support the Rapid Enterprise Solutions Division (AFLCMC/EBR) which provides enabling capabilities to the Armament Directorate by modernizing how
AFLCMC/EB
designs, develops, tests, and sustains weapon systems. EBR delivers secure digital ecosystems, integrated engineering and productivity tools, workforce training and support, cybersecurity and security assessments, modeling and analysis services, and manages facility operations, human capital, and resources to accelerate solutions delivery to the warfighter. This is a fulltime position based at Eglin AFB, FL with onsite requirements. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Administer and maintain classified and/or Special Access Program (SAP) network systems as applicable Perform system and network patch management Perform chronicle security controls and compliance Document processes and procedures for system and network configurations Perform network and server development and administration Execute security and compliance measures Perform software license management Manage access control and permissions Apply operating system and software updates as required Perform CryptoNet Management duties Managing cloud-based administration Perform Government Reference Architecture (GRA) and Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Collaboration Administer log-on script management and updates Configure switches and firewalls Perform database administration and management Engineer and develop IT solutions Draft network architecture diagrams Test hardware and software System administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
Qualifications Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance:
Active Top Secret Clearance Education, years of experience, and certifications: Bachelors in relevant degree + 15 years relevant experience OR Bachelors in relevant degree + 13 years relevant experience + Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II OR Masters in relevant degree + 13 years relevant experience OR Masters in relevant degree + 11 years relevant experience + Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II. Technical Skills Information Assurance Technical Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CISSP). Knowledge of DoD Manual 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification standards. Experience with LAN/WAN administration and network security. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. COMSEC operations and cryptonet management expertise. Database administration and management. Configuration management and troubleshooting of IT systems. Cloud-based administration and virtualization technologies. Network architecture design and diagramming. Familiarity with Government systems and applications (e.g., ConWrite, CPARS, ETIMS). Interpersonal Skills Experience working independently without onsite support. Understanding of how much data loss is acceptable and how long can a system be down Experience with backup validation. Effective communication under pressure. Experience recovering AD, Exchange DAGs, storage arrays, and backup servers. Ability to collaborate with Government, military, and civilian agencies. Effective communication for project planning and coordination. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to assess and prioritize customer needs. Organizational and time management skills. Adaptability to evolving technologies and requirements.
