Name Eglin AFB Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Rapid Enterprise Solutions division (AFLCMC/EBR) at Eglin AFB, FL. This division powers the weapons enterprise with a superior workforce, modernized facilities, and innovative digital capabilities. Our Network and Computer Systems Administrators provide support and assistance in the management and operations of armament program related network systems. Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to: Supporting Tier III and Tier IV IT systems
Maintains file servers, network access; documents, analyzes, and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance
Directory Services support, including DNS, GPO, Active Directory, Domains and Trust, Sites and Services and Role Based Access Control
Evaluates monthly software and Operating Systems patching for security/compliance needs
Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications Citizenship:

Current Top Secret clearance Education and experience:
Senior:
Associate's degree in a related field and 15 years of related experience; OR Associate's degree and 13 years of experience with an IAT Level III certification;
OR Bachelor's in a related field and 11 years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 9 years of related experience with an IAT Level III certification
Experience administering network and computer systems in a DoD or enterprise environment
Experience supporting secure systems and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements Preferred Qualifications DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CCNA Security, or equivalent)
Experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration in classified environments
Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and ATO packages
Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Technical Skills Experience with RAIDs, SANs, High Availability, Backups and Disaster Recovery.
Familiar with Amazon Cloud and Azure Cloud Services.
Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
Strong automation and scripting skills.
Working knowledge in network concepts (cabling and cable management, network switching/routing, vLANs, etc.).
Working knowledge of
RHEL 7, RHEL
8, CENTOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Operating Systems.
Strong ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures.
Working knowledge virtualization technologies including VMWare ESXi VSphere/Horizon, Microsoft Hyper-Visor and Citrix XenCenter.
Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies to include:
SPLUNK, WHATSUP
GOLD, HBSS, Fortigate Interpersonal Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to support multiple systems and priorities in a mission-driven environment
Attention to detail and commitment to system security and reliability
