Job Description

Title:
Knowledge Management Support KBR is seeking a Knowledge Manager to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. A strong candidate has experience providing knowledge management, collaboration, and records management support to Headquarters staffs in a high‑tempo operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a core member of the
HQ STARCOM
Knowledge Management (KM) team, supporting enterprise-level information sharing and collaboration. Work directly with HQ staff personnel to understand requirements and develop processes that enhance STARCOM's ability to create, share, and manage data and organizational knowledge. Plan, configure, and manage Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams environments in direct alignment with user requirements and mission needs. Establish new Microsoft Teams environments and provide hands-on user assistance and training on Teams collaboration capabilities. Administer and maintain
HQ STARCOM
SharePoint environments, including site development, content migration, day-to-day operations, sustainment, and user training. Ensure SharePoint environments maintain full compliance with all Department of the Air Force and applicable Department of War standards. Ensure records management practices comply with statutory requirements. Develop, maintain, and train personnel on the records management file plan. Process and respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) information requests. Provide timely user and subordinate unit support, including basic SharePoint and Microsoft Teams training, in response to operational needs. Proactively engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and coordinate KM solutions in support of headquarters mission execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain. A minimum of 3 years of experience directly relating to knowledge management, collaboration tools, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or records management. Headquarters-level experience within the US Space Force, US Air Force, a Combatant Command, a Field Command, or equivalent organization Proven ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience working professionally with senior military leaders, headquarters offices, directorates, and action officers.
Desired:
BA/BS degree. Experience with US Space Force missions.
