We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and services to our customers while continuing to modernize our internal technology systems. Our IT team plays a key role in supporting daily operations, improving business systems, and helping the company transition toward a more secure and scalable hybrid cloud environment. Position Summary Polypack is seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to support daily IT operations, manage end-user service requests, assist with infrastructure administration, and help modernize our Microsoft environment. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing Jira Service Management help desk tickets, supporting users across the organization, maintaining Windows Server and domain controller environments, administering Active Directory, and assisting with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud initiatives. This role will also support business application improvements, including customization and administration within Dynamics 365 Sales . The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working across help desk support, systems administration, endpoint management, cloud identity, and business application configuration. Key Responsibilities IT Service Desk & End-User Support Monitor, triage, prioritize, and resolve help desk requests through Jira Service Management . Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, account access, Microsoft 365, and business application issues. Troubleshoot and resolve workstations, printer, peripheral, mobile device, and application-related problems. Set up, configure, and deploy computers, software applications, user accounts, and peripherals. Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including account setup, device preparation, access permissions, and user training. Communicate clearly with non-technical users and provide timely ticket updates. Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures. Infrastructure & Systems Administration Maintain and support Windows Server infrastructure and domain controllers. Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory , DNS, DHCP, file permissions, and related Windows domain services. Support user, group, computer, and security administration within the domain environment. Assist with Windows Server updates, patching, monitoring, and general maintenance. Support backups, system performance monitoring, storage, and infrastructure health checks. Help maintain secure and reliable access to internal systems and shared resources. Microsoft 365, Entra ID & Hybrid Cloud Assist with the company's migration toward a hybrid cloud Microsoft environment. Support Microsoft 365 administration, including users, groups, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security settings. Work with Microsoft Entra ID for identity management, user synchronization, authentication, and access control. Support hybrid identity initiatives involving on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based Microsoft services. Assist with device registration, device compliance, endpoint management, and Microsoft Intune-related initiatives. Help implement and maintain policies for security, conditional access, MFA, and endpoint configuration. Participate in planning and execution of cloud migration and modernization projects. Dynamics 365 Sales Administration & Customization Support administration and customization of Dynamics 365 Sales . Assist with configuring forms, views, fields, tables/entities, dashboards, workflows, and business rules as needed. Assist users with Dynamics 365 Sales issues, training, and process improvements. Documentation, Security & Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate records of system configurations, processes, support procedures, and changes. Follow IT security best practices when handling accounts, permissions, devices, and sensitive business data. Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements. Assist with IT projects that improve reliability, security, scalability, and user experience. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors as needed. Required Qualifications Experience providing IT help desk or technical support in a business environment. Experience working with a ticketing system; Jira Service Management experience preferred. Working knowledge of Windows desktops, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and common business applications. Hands-on experience with Active Directory , user/group administration, domain-joined devices, and file permissions. Understanding of
DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
networking, VPN, printers, and basic network troubleshooting. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, users, groups, and licensing. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assigned tasks. Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID , hybrid identity, Entra ID Connect, MFA, conditional access, and Microsoft security features. Experience with Microsoft Intune , endpoint management, device registration, compliance policies, and configuration profiles. Experience supporting or migrating to a hybrid cloud Microsoft environment. Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power Platform is a plus. Experience with server virtualization, backups, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance is a plus. Basic PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
