    High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver's License Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel Experience with AC and DC circuity Experience with basic hand and power tools Customer service skills
  • Experience with fiber laser systems PLC and CNC troubleshooting experience Industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Pneumatic and hydraulic systems experience Customer-facing field service experience
Responsibilities:
Set up, test, operate, and validate fiber laser cutting, CNC, and related automation equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. Install, commission, and calibrate fiber laser cutting machines and related automation equipment at customer sites. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software-related issues. Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products. Conduct machine alignments, beam path checks, and cutting performance optimization. Provide technical support and recommendations to improve machine efficiency and reliability. Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges. Complete detailed service reports, parts usage documentation, and expense reports. Coordinate with internal technical support, engineering, and parts departments. Maintain company tools, test equipment, and service vehicle inventory. Follow all company and customer safety requirements, including laser safety and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist with remote troubleshooting via phone, email, and video conferencing when not traveling. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance evaluations. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day. Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day. Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor and various equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts (forklifts and other machinery). Ability to stand/sit at a workstation 7-8 hours per day. The individual is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Noise levels may be loud in some work environments.
Wages :
Salary base $50,000 to $60,000 plus per diem for travel / or $24.04 hourly minimum. Schedule
  • full time / Monday to Friday
