Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Jr. Systems & Network Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, security, and performance of our company's servers, networks, communications, and end-user technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain company servers, networks, and related infrastructure. Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN connectivity and performance. Install and document system patches, updates, and upgrades. Troubleshoot server, network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues. Support business phone and voicemail systems. Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and hardware/software inventories. Provide end-user technical support and coordinate with vendors and service providers. Support cybersecurity initiatives, including user accounts, access controls, and security best practices. Monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Evaluate infrastructure and recommend improvements to security, reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training. 3-5 years of experience supporting network and server environments. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting data networks. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, SD-WAN, Ethernet switching, VLANs, VPNs, and broadband connectivity. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 or similar platforms. Experience with remote desktop or virtual application environments such as Citrix or Microsoft RDS. Help desk/end-user support experience. Knowledge of business phone systems and structured data/voice cabling. Strong communication, documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in telecommunications closets, equipment rooms, and other confined spaces as needed
