Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Administrator to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This critical position is located at MacDill AFB, FL. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide SOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to

VIPER, and ultimately the end-users who operate around the globe 24x7x365. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide Tier I-II technical support for the full lifecycle of VIP IT services, including devices, applications, connectivity, and user environments. Deliver remote technical support for VIP personnel during CONUS and OCONUS travel, including real-time troubleshooting of devices, connectivity, and access issues. Apply advanced multi-domain IT troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, mobility, network connectivity, and user experience issues. Configure, issue, secure, and maintain government mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. Provision, configure, and support VIP travel laptops to enable secure remote access to enterprise and mission systems. Deploy and maintain portable connectivity solutions, including secure mobile routers, hotspots, and travel communications kits. Perform device imaging, configuration, patching, updates, and lifecycle management for endpoint and mobility equipment. Support secure email, collaboration platforms, remote access services, and enterprise mobility solutions. Provide functional support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC), including setup, testing, user assistance, and troubleshooting of audio, video, and connectivity issues. Coordinate with enterprise service providers, network operations, and cybersecurity teams for issues requiring escalation beyond Tier II. Ensure all equipment and configurations comply with DoD cybersecurity policies, DISA STIGs, and security requirements. Deliver rapid response, white-glove support for General/Flag Officers and senior executive staff in time-sensitive and mission-critical situations. Provide IT support for GO/FO customers at approved offsite conferences, command events, and on-base residence locations as required. Maintain asset accountability, configuration documentation, and operational readiness status for VIP IT equipment. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for VIP mobility, remote support, and operational processes. Support continuity of operations (COOP) and contingency IT requirements for VIP leadership.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting senior leadership or VIP customers in high-visibility operational environments. Strong background in end-to-end IT support, including endpoints, mobility, connectivity, and collaboration technologies. Exceptional IT troubleshooting skills across multiple technology domains. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service. Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, mission-critical environments. Strong proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting VIP Communications or Flag/General Officer environments Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Years of Experience:
Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with
BS/BA, 6
years with MS/MA, or 3 years with
PHD Clearance Requirement:
A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
