Duties Help As a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-07/09/11, you will develop, modify, and test overall system backup and recovery stregies for assigned systems. Serve as a technical focal point for the installion and configurion of hardware and software on personal computers and for personal da assistants associed with assigned systems. Serve as a systems administror responsible for planning, coordining, modifying, implementing, and troubleshooting in order to meet customer needs. Serve as a technical focal point on multiple opering systems and computer plforms. Provide technical assistance and advice to personnel involved in system design, programming, dabase design, and modifying commercially developed software. Analyze, evalue, and recommend hardware/software changes to various computer systems. Requirements Help Conditions of employment This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard, required prior to the effective de of placement. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. This position is cegorized as IAT LevelII IAW DOD 8570.01.

QualificionsAREA OF CONSIDERATION
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Cegory 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Cegory 3: All current military members of the Florida Nional Guard; and Cegory 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida Nional Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Stus technicians. First considerion given to Cegory 1.Recruitment Incentive:
May be paid to the candide who is "newly appointed" into this federal government position. The bonus NTE $10,000 . Payment a lump sum payment the beginning of employment. The candide must agree in writing to remain in this position for a minimum of 12 months, and if they vace th position for another technician, AGR or active-duty service position within the initial 12-month period, the Incentive may be recouped. MULTIPLE LEVEL RECRUITMENT
This position is being advertised using multiple level recruitment to allow for considerion of applicants with the basic skills necessary to develop to the full journeyman level of the position. If a less than fully qualified applicant is selected, incumbent may be trained and developed until proficiency is gained to full journeyman level. If less than fully qualified individual is selected for this position, the position has potential to Grade___11___.STATEMENT OF DIFFERENCE
The purpose of this position is to provide on-the-job experience for the purpose of qualifying for the target grade level described in the position description. Work assignments are selected to provide training and experience in this occupion. The incumbent is required to obtain increased knowledge and skill in the duties of the position the target grade level. Promotion to the full journeyman level position is not automic with the completion of the time in grade requirements, but rher it is contingent upon the assignments and performance of full journeyman level duties on a regular and recurring basis. Educion In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following educion or combinion of both educion and experience: GS09- Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent gradue degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level gradue educion leading to a master's degree or equivalent gradue degree.
