This work usually includes a mixture of routine and complex projects/programs based on the objectives of the ATO and is a critical area of safety oversight. The work directly affects the safe and efficient operion of the Nional Airspace System (NAS). Performs managerial duties, which typically affect employees and managers in more than one organizional unit/project/program, and include: planning; communicing the organizion's vision and objectives; setting priorities; assigning tasks and responsibilities; monitoring and evaluing performance; coaching and developing employee capabilities; approving leave; and taking, recommending or approving corrective/disciplinary actions as approprie. The Team Manager applies an advanced knowledge of budget, administrive and human resource policies and procedures to direct the staff in accomplishing objectives of the Directores. Performs critical aspects of the budget planning process, including projecting short term and long-term future needs and justifying resource requirements. Possesses advanced technical knowledge of NAS systems, technologies and operions and of runway safety systems to direct staff in analyzing and evaluing complex runway configurions to prevent collisions, incursions and accidents.
