Network Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in Duluth, GA. You will manage core switching technologies while ensuring reliable routing operations through protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP .

Rate Range:

$45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Administrator job responsibilities include:

Configure, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network switches, including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, HP, and Dell devices. Manage LAN switching technologies such as Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN configuration, and VTP operations. Implement and support routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP for stable and optimized network connectivity. Conduct regular network performance monitoring, diagnostics, and issue resolution to ensure high availability. Perform firmware updates, device maintenance, and configuration backups for all network infrastructure. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support network-related changes, upgrades, and security initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in network administration and enterprise networking. Strong hands‑on expertise with switching technologies, including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, HP, and Dell devices. Pay Details:
