Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Validates the configuration and performance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to meet organizational requirements. Oversee the administration of server operating systems and ensure the integrity of data storage and backup systems. Manage system upgrades and coordinate with vendors to resolve high-level technical issues. Provides technical oversight for the IT systems required for Distribution Center operations and program management support. Develop and maintain secure communication links for logistics platforms operating across diverse theater locations. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and system architecture diagrams for senior review and mission coordination. Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.NOTE:
Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below.Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education). Experience in formal document approval and acting as a Functional Lead for IT service delivery and infrastructure sustainment. Midlevel Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required and 3+ years of position-relevant experience. Proficient in drafting technical documentation and following established SOPs for systems administration. Junior Level Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. Ability to draft basic technical documentation and follow instructions for system maintenance.Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and virtualized environments in a military or Government setting.Clearance Required:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
