Position Summary:
The Operations Services Specialist I plays a critical role in supporting the Bank and Fintech Operations for BaaS by managing deposit account documentation, ensuring accurate account and system maintenance and contributing to the overall efficiency of various operational processes. This position is essential for maintaining compliance, supporting internal stakeholders, and enhancing the customer experience within the Retail Branch Network & for LoadPay Essential Duties & Responsibilities Quality Assurance Oversee the daily quality control of new deposit accounts and account maintenance requests initiated by the Retail Branch network and customers within the LoadPay applications. Ensure that all accounts are correctly entered into the system, adhering to internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough verification of new account documentation, including signature cards, resolutions, and other pertinent documents. Maintain record of account and customer missing documentation. Customer Information Management Perform daily maintenance of Customer Information Files (CIF) based on requests from customers and team members. Process and update address change requests for both deposit and loan accounts. Perform quality reviews of LoadPay account maintenance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company standards. Account and Mail Processing Manage the processing of maintenance requests for deposit accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle all mail returns related to deposit and loan accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of issues. Regulatory Compliance and Control Quality control Opt In/Opt Out forms against Navigator to guarantee accuracy and compliance. Monitor and manage inactive and dormant account activity, ensuring that accounts are appropriately categorized and handled. Ensure proper authorization and documentation of procedure exceptions is obtained when necessary. Specialized Account Services Process and respond to all Verification of Deposit requests for the bank. Process and respond to all Accuity and SSA requests for the bank. Customer and Internal Support Respond to phone calls and emails to provide support and resolve inquiries for the branch network. Experience & Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Preferred 1 - 2 years of retail banking experience Knowledge of rules and regulations related to deposit accounts, and general banking. Skills & Abilities Required Must possess a strong work ethic, detail orientation, and organizational skills. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong customer service skills required. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here maybe encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.
