Active Secret Summary:
Execute daily sustainment of
SMS/E-SMS/BRED/VTIME
servers and services; administer accounts; respond to security findings; maintain SOPs, inventory, backups, and uptime for public-facing sites. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and harden Windows/Linux servers and supporting software across the enclave. Administer domain accounts/passwords; manage patching and STIG compliance; action
IAVM/VDP/SCAP/ACAS
findings. Execute scheduled backups; verify restores and archive test documentation per SOP. Troubleshoot and optimize network devices and connectivity across the enclave and BUILDER (SMS) customer community. Maintain bi-annual equipment inventory; keep SOPs current; support SysOps (GitLab). Assist with public website uptime, security, and optimization with minimal downtime.
Requirements:
CompTIA Security+; hands-on Windows/Linux administration within DoD security frameworks. Experience executing backup/recovery and security scan remediation with documented outcomes. Per Government contracting requirements, the candidate must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in the English language, be a US citizen, and pass and maintain a National Agency Check Investigation.
