Job Description
Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is a private radiology practice with 100+ physicians providing radiology specialty services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Illinois. We are currently recruiting an onsite full time Network Administrator to join our team in East Peoria, Illinois.
Duties & Responsibilities Include :
Supports the installation, configuration, maintenance and security of CIRA's computer network, network applications and users. Installs, configures, monitoris, maintains, repairs and upgrades all elements of CIRA'snetwork and systems and most hospital customer' radiology departmental clinical IT systems including hardware, software, and radiology workflow applications. Ensures a secure, stable and efficient infrastructure is maintained for the delivery of radiology diagnostic services through associated systems including but not limited to PACS, RIS, and radiology dictation and reporting applications. Provides network and technical support to users in their use of radiology and teleradiology systems. Serves as the technical escalation point for complex connectivity or network performance issues. Implements and updates security software, such as antivirus, and manages user access/permissions to proect against unauthorized access. Proactively monitors the network performance for issues, installing software updates/patches, and maintaining infrastructure. Assists in the development of IT policies and processes including but not limited to firewall security, disaster recovery procedures, VPN, active directory. Recommends, tests, implements and installs technology; resolves problems; determines system improvements and system changes. Manages IP addresses, server resources, and tracking network inventory. Monitors the network and analyzes cybersecurity attacks, intrusions, unauthorized or illegal activity. Ensures the network provides a high degree of security for the corporation and its users. Travels to customer locations as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of two year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in a medical practice environment preferred. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred. Comp TIA Network+ certification preferred. Active directory knowledg preferred. Technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers through written or verbal form. Detail oriented and ability to multitask ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner. Adaptable to changing criteria and situations in a flexible manner. Ability to travel to customer locations. Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Maintains strict confidentiality.Job Type:
