# 55909 Mid-States Concrete Industries, LLC seeks IT System Administrator inSouth Beloit, IL:
Administer, monitor, and maintain servers (physical and virtual), storage, and core infrastructure systems. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user access, permissions, and security roles. Maintain and monitor backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. Support and maintain network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, WAN links). Ensure system security through patching, updates, vulnerability management, and access controls. Diagnose and resolve advanced system, server, and network issues escalated from Helpdesk. Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, procedures, and recovery processes. Support other IT initiatives and projects as assigned. 20% Domestic Travel required to support additional Mid-States Concrete Industries Facilities (Browntown, WI, Beloit, WI, & Germantown, WI). 40 hrs/week. $100,785.88/yr. - $115,000.00/yr. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate diploma or the equivalent (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.Special Requirements:
Position requires 3 years of experience in each of the following skills: Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy); Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V); Backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam or similar); Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing); Identity & Access Management; System Hardening & Patching; Network Security Fundamentals; Endpoint & Server Protection; Logging, Monitoring & Detection; Incident Response Fundamentals; Backup, Recovery & Ransomware Defense; Cloud Security Basics; Policies, Compliance & User Awareness; and System Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Access & Security Documentation, Policies & Procedures, SOPs, and Change & Version Tracking; and Structured Problem-Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Log Analysis, Performance Troubleshooting, User-Impact Triage, Security-Focused Troubleshooting, and Vendor & Escalation Management.Benefits:
