Department Summary:
The IT Department manages, maintains, and supports RADIAN's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data, to ensure smooth operations, security, and efficiency. Responsibilities include technical support, network management, cybersecurity, software deployment, employee training, and strategic planning to align technology with business goals.
Position Summary:
The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and securing our software, hardware, and networks. The role requires a technically skilled individual who can manage our IT infrastructure and provide hardware and software support to internal users. The position acts as the primary organizational interface with vendors for computer related services.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, support and secure local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems including support of firewalls, routers, and switches. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Maintain and update server hardware, software, and printers. Maintain domain user accounts and permissions. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Maintain and update computer hardware and software. Provide user support for hardware and software. Track company software licensing. Antivirus software

  • administer and maintain phone hardware, software, and accounts. MS M365 email and Azure/Entra administration. Research data and voice service providers and provide suggestions to management. Install, administer, and maintain SQL Server databases. MS Dynamics NAV (Business Central)
  • Maintain user accounts and permissions.
Make changes to system reports, etc. Work with consultants to test software changes prior to implementation. Other duties assigned by Supervision or Management.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3-5 years of System Administration, Network Administration, or similar role.
Knowledge of:
Windows operating systems and applications Vmware virtualization M365 Office productivity software Azure or similar cloud management TCP/IP Networking Cyber Security SQL databases Programming or scripting languages Skilled at: Active directory network administration Computer troubleshooting and repair
