Byron Sims Job Summary/Basic Functions The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, operation, security, reliability, and lifecycle management of the University's enterprise computing infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The position requires broad technical knowledge of server operating systems, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, identity and access management, directory services, enterprise storage, backup and recovery, monitoring, automation, and related infrastructure technologies, with demonstrated expertise in one or more of these areas.Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field and three years of progressively responsible systems administration experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Experience:
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, systems administration, automation, or related technologiesDemonstrated experience with several of the following: Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory Windows Server Linux administration VMware/virtualization Enterprise backup and recovery PowerShell or other scripting Server patching and vulnerability remediation Enterprise monitoring DNS/DHCP and foundational networking concepts PKI/certificate management SSO/authentication technologiesLicensure & Certifications:

Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)Microsoft Certified:
