Job Description
The Network Administrator 1 provides operational installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and support functions for the systems that comprise the information technology and infrastructure used throughout FMOLHS Information Services. Reviews, develops, designs, monitors, and maintains IT systems to maximize organizational performance. Provides ongoing analysis and problem-solving to ensure the integration of technology in effective workflow and process design. The senior level position has advanced knowledge in their field, assumes higher level projects and mentors and trains staff members. 2 years IS Network Administration experience. Bachelor's Degree in IT field substitutes for 2 years of Network Administration experience. High School graduate or equivalent. Experience in installation and configuration of a particular technology platform (datacenter, network, operating system, etc.) Experience with performance management and preventative maintenance of a particular technology platform. Experience providing a secure environment related to a particular technology platform. Experience working with a automated ticketing system from problem identification, communication, and resolution.
