A Systems Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of an organization's computer networks, including the systems that connect computers and other technology to each other and to outside networks. Installs, organizes, and supports the hardware and software of these systems.
We are seeking a BAS Systems Specialist to support the installation, programming, commissioning, and service of commercial building automation systems throughout the Central Massachusetts region. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to deliver high-quality HVAC controls and systems integration solutions across a variety of commercial and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BAS/DDC systems, controls integration, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems in commercial environments. Responsibilities Program, troubleshoot, commission, and service building automation and HVAC control systems Support BAS/DDC integrations involving HVAC equipment, lighting controls, and energy management systems Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance activities Interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, sequences of operation, and engineering documentation Configure and troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based control networks Support retrofit, upgrade, and new construction projects across commercial facilities Provide technical support and field service to customers throughout the region Assist with graphics, alarms, trending, and front-end BAS configuration Document service activity, system changes, and project updates accurately Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and technical support Qualifications 3+ years of experience with
BAS/BMS, HVAC
