Yes Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The role manages IT system infrastructure and related processes, supporting day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Support dispatch system and hardware problem resolution processes. Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems. Install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure virtual, storage, and network components. Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Configure and manage Linux/CentOS operating systems and install/load operating system software with enhancements. Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components. Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications, and software integration. Utilize system monitoring tools such as HP Tools / OneView, Sitescope. Apply virtualization experience. Use team collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, and ServiceNow. Required Qualifications Fifteen (15) years experience as a system/network administrator. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional system/network administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Required Education and Experience Equivalency Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university with 15 years experience as a system/network administrator. No bachelor's degree with 20 years experience as a system/network administrator (15 + 5 additional years). Required Certifications None specified.
