) to support a company supporting federal defense programs. This position is fully onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD . This is an incredible opportunity supporting mission-critical systems that require high availability and security compliance. The Linux System Administrator will support and maintain RHEL and Linux environments in a secure enterprise setting. We welcome anyone with RHEL/Linux adjacent experience to apply! Responsibilities for the RHEL/Linux System Administrator include:- MUST possess a Secret Clearance
- Administer and maintain
RHEL 7/8/9
servers, including patching and upgrades.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Linux infrastructure issues.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Conduct vulnerability remediation and apply
DISA STIG
requirements.- Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve issues. Qualification s for the RHEL/Linux System Administrator include:
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- 7+ years of Linux Systems Administration experience.
- Strong experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or WebInspect.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Bash, Python, or other automation tools.
