Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Baltimore, MD . The ideal candidate must have experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory administration, desktop support, and server operations, along with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Rate Range:
$50/hour to $55/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.System Administrator job responsibilities include:
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems across the enterprise environment. Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of Windows workstations and servers. Execute workstation refreshes, operating system migrations, and hardware replacement projects. Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot business applications, software packages, and related technologies. Create, modify, and maintain Active Directory user accounts, computer accounts, security groups, and access permissions. Monitor and manage incident, service request, and problem tickets through the organization's ITSM platform. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, operating system, and user access issues while documenting resolutions and support procedures.Desired Qualifications:
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. 2-5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.Strong experience with:
Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, End User Support, Desktop Administration Basic understanding of: Group Policy, Access Management, Windows Security, System Administration Best Practices Experience with software deployment, workstation imaging, and operating system upgrades.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with ITSM platforms and service management processes. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint management tools. Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and distributed user environments. Familiarity with hardware lifecycle management and workstation deployment projects.
