REQUIRED

Strong experience in administering Linux servers (Ubuntu, or Debian)

• Solid command of the Linux internals you touch day to day: systemd, package management, filesystems and LVM, users and permissions
• Troubleshooting skills at the OS level: reading logs (journald, syslog), and using performance and diagnostic tools such as top/htop, iostat, df, lsof and journalctl
• Hardening and security: SSH, sudo policies
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, NAT, DNS and DHCP
• Version control with Git
• Clear written documentation and runbooks
• Ability to take part in an on-call rotation ## Nice to Have (NOT

• Kubernetes:

• deploying and running clusters, plus experience with Helm, ingress controllers and
• troubleshooting pods

• Terraform:

• managing state, provisioning on-prem infrastructure as code

• understanding of GitOps principles and FluxCD
