Security+ Cert 10 years of experience as a System Administrator Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 additional years of experience as a System Administrator may be substituted for a degree
Job Description:
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/network devices. Manages IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and any processes related to the IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, and diagnosis. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Required Experience:
Windows 11: ability to troubleshoot various hardware issues
Linux:
experience with
Ubuntu and Fedora Networking:
experience with
Juniper Windows Server:
manage roles including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory including Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V Experience with Powershell scripting
Desired Experience:
Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems Ability to upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches Strong Windows and Linux troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues HP Device Manager (understanding of RMM tools would be sufficient) Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog-ng
