Systems Administrator Location:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to support and maintain the technology infrastructure that powers our business operations. This role is ideal for a technology professional who enjoys working across networking, cybersecurity, cloud systems, servers, VoIP communications, and end-user support while helping drive operational excellence throughout the organization. Position Summary The Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, maintenance, security, and support of Gramophone's internal IT infrastructure. This includes servers, network systems, firewalls, cybersecurity platforms, VoIP phone systems, Google Workspace administration, and employee help desk support. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to security and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Systems & Server Administration
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual server environments.
- Manage Windows Server infrastructure and related services.
- Perform system updates, patch management, and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery processes. Network Administration
- Manage and support LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity.
- Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement best practices for network security and optimization. Cybersecurity & Threat Protection
- Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat detection platforms.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain multi-factor authentication, access controls, and security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and system audits.
- Assist in developing and enforcing cybersecurity best practices throughout the organization. VoIP Phone Systems
- Administer and support company VoIP phone systems and related communication platforms.
- Manage user provisioning, call routing, voicemail systems, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot voice quality, connectivity, and telecommunications issues.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure system reliability and performance. Google Workspace Administration
- Manage Google Workspace users, groups, permissions, and organizational settings.
- Administer Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, and related services.
- Configure and enforce security policies, retention policies, and user access controls.
- Support integrations between Google Workspace and business applications. Help Desk & End User Support
- Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 technical support to employees.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Configure and deploy computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting team members across all departments. IT Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades and technology initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of Systems Administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Experience administering firewalls and cybersecurity platforms.
- Hands-on experience with VoIP phone systems.
- Experience administering Google Workspace.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with cloud services including Google Cloud and Azure
- Experience with endpoint management and mobile device management solutions.
