Job Description

Title:
Install and Service Regional Field Technician Company Overview:
Inovi Healthcare, LLC is a full-service Safe Patient Handling company selling, installing, servicing and training hospitals and other healthcare facilities on overhead and mobile lifts, bathroom safety equipment, and certain home accessibility products along with patient slings and lateral transfer devices. Our company has steadily grown from a local distributor to now servicing and installing safe patient handling equipment along the East coast as well as the Midwest with our headquarters in Baltimore and regional offices in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire with Georgia pending. Our team has years of industry experience providing clinical and technical support from room design to construction and installation.
Opportunity:
Inovi Healthcare, LLC is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Baltimore based Regional Service/Install Tech to enhance our organization. In this position, you will work mostly in the field but also in our Owings Mills warehouse with some travel. This position reports to the Regional Project Manager with dotted line to the VP of Finance/Operations. There are significant advancement opportunities. Below are duties and desired or mandatory job requirements. Most importantly, we have excellent team chemistry and are only interested in those who will enjoy and add to our great teamwork. We work hard, we work smart and we have fun. Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
  • Annual inspection and preventive maintenance of safe patient handling equipment in various healthcare facilities o Preventative Maintenance in the greater Baltimore, DC area o Preventative Maintenance in regions of Pennsylvania and New York o Other Locations as needed
  • Installation of new systems, including but not limited to: o Sales Support o Technical Support
  • Training and education to include: o OSHA 10 Hour course within first 90 days o HIPPA training as needed o Forklift training certificate within first 90 days o Other vendor credentialing programs as needed
  • Warehouse Duties to include: o Picking and preparing outbound orders o Process orders for shipping o Receive in inbound shipments o Unload Inventory in a safe and organized manner o Scan and organize inventory in proper labeled locations
  • Conduct all operations in a manner that promotes safety in compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
  • Compliant with all hospital credentialing programs as deemed necessary by the company
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Totally comfortable with working on ladders for above ceiling work
  • Ideally, previous experience with use of hammer drill
  • Ideally, conversant with hospital infection control programs for staff, visitors and contractors during construction work
  • Off-hours work as needed
  • Travel as needed
  • On Call as needed
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications:
  • Strong capability to work within a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, outlook
  • Reasonable communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Represent Company in positive manner and not take any actions detrimental to it
  • Hands on, independent thinker with effective problem-solving skills
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
