System Administrator IIIResponsibilities:

Maintain computer information systems utilizing Linux operating systems (RHEL)Communicate with IS Owners (ISO) to ensure systems meet their needsHarden systems to meet DoD security policiesProvisioning, configuring, and maintaining physical servers, storage arrays, (SAN/NAS), and virtualization hostsPerform system maintenance, updates, and backups

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or better5+ years working in the fieldProficiency with Network Configurations and architectureStrong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and softwareKnowledgeable of the Risk Management Framework, DoD 8510.01, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a small team environmentAbility to lift 40lb, experience racking serversCurrent Active Secret ClearanceWilling to hold a Top Secret clearance

Desirable:

Experience managing core network services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy (GPO)Patching systems in an air-gapped networkExperience with Ansible with a desire to expand knowledgeWilling to learn new technologies (including Windows), create solutions, and document themExperience in hardware troubleshootingTop Secret clearanceIn compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $103k-147k year, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation as part of the total rewards package.
