Job Description:
Tria Federal is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join a collaborative and dynamic IT team. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience using their in-depth understanding of information systems, security, and computing solutions. This role is required to be on-site at our Windsor Mill location in Baltimore, Maryland. He/she will use their interpersonal skills to communicate and provide IT service desk support to a hybrid workforce. This role requires knowledge of the MacOS environment and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of an A.S. in applied science (Computer/Network) Will consider two years of college or trade school education in computer, networking, or computer security field
3-5 years of experience required
Must be able to commute daily to our Woodlawn, MD Office
MacOS and Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Azure / Entra ID (Active Directory), Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot)
IT asset management - maintain and track inventory
Additional Qualifications:
A+ and/or Network+ Certification or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Strong time management; able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Clear and patient communicator, especially with non-technical users
Highly responsive and professional in demeanor
Knowledge of FreshService Service Desk System Responsibilities:
Provide IT service desk support to a hybrid workforce
Support approximately 250 MacOS devices across the organization, with primary responsibility for MacOS support operations within our Baltimore office
Manage endpoint configuration, software installations, updates, and security compliance for MacOS devices
Configure and maintain networked computers (hardware, software, applications)
Optimize IT operations for performance and security
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Support remote offices using remote access tools
Maintain IT asset inventory and tracking
Document processes and technical work accurately
Explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
Uphold company IT policies and standards Ability to pass a minimum background investigation
