Job Description
Primary IT support resource for PC/Server, Microsoft Office Applications and Desktop clients. Use standard monitoring solution and gather feedback from users. Analyze system issues and provides solutions if possible. Escalates system issues to IT Manager or to Group/Corporate IT. Provides support on off shifts and weekends via telephone, VPN, and onsite if necessary for critical issues. Use corporate help desk process for support or services escalation. Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including system administration, security, process adherence and documentation, equipment installation and system backups. Installation and maintenance of equipment, application and o/s upgrades, patches, new releases and interfaces. Follow the corporate change management procedures before making any changes to the production environment. Ensures company IT activities are communicated in a timely fashion to the Senior IT Management and staff. Supports the IT Manager and acts as Project Manager for IT initiatives within the facility as required. Responsible for ensuring adherence to strategic YFAI IT initiatives, standard technologies, policies, security and Business Operating System (BOS) processes throughout the plant. Participating in IT related incident reviews along with writing or assisting in the 8D process and aiding in corrective action closure. Partners with Maintenance on overhead and lift-related work, equipment lockout/tagout, and access to plant infrastructure. Additional Responsibilities Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through the use of, but not limited to, 5S, job rotation and ergonomic work practices. Communication of safety information as necessary and participation in safety meetings and activities is also required. Interpersonal skills for frequent interactions with users and management personnel.

Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time. Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels. Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote). Specific Requirments 2-Year College Degree Area of Study:
Computer Science or similar. Required Qualifications 3+ years IT or related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. 2+ years' experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN's) and Wide Area Networks (WAN's) associated equipment. Experience in supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Must have experience and working knowledge to support and maintain; mobile handheld computers, thermal printers, and multi-function network printers. Experience in data collection and barcoding systems. Outstanding PC/Server hardware and software experience including Microsoft Office 10 and 11, SQL queries, database reporting skills. Experience in being first line of support for network equipment. Cisco experience a plus. Customer support experience coupled with hardware, software, and network support. Preferred Qualifications Experience in supporting TISAX audits. Experience in supporting IATF audits with focus on IT systems.
