POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the Director of Risk Management by assisting with the organization's information technology systems, devices, network, user support, and cybersecurity practices.. The position also assists with policy and process development, workflow analysis and improvement, regulatory compliance, and marketing projects as needed.CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Software and Device Management:
o Track and assign licensing for all software o Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment, including computers, tablets, phones, printers, monitors, docking stations, TVs, etc. o Manage the device upgrade schedule o Assist with identifying new systems/software to solve problems in any business area. o Manage the implementation and deployment of software or new devices/hardwareUser Management:
o Add/remove users from our systems o Manage user groups and permissions o Enforce policiesSupport/Troubleshooting:
o Provide support and troubleshooting to all users o Identify any training gaps, system design issues, or other areas for improvement and provide recommendations for solving them.Security Management:
o Assist in creating and maintaining system security policies, security groups, and system rules/conditions. o Assist with creating and maintaining a physical security plan regarding access to our network and computer infrastructure to avoid unauthorized access and tampering. o Perform security audits o Stay up to date on Microsoft Defender Incidents & Alerts, Actions & Submissions, and Threat IntelligenceNetwork Management:
o Manage firewall rules and alerts, ensure software/firmware stays up to date, and regularly back up system settings. o Manage network switchgear, controllers, access points, and other devices to ensure they perform optimally and are up to date with current firmware.- Training o New hire training o Regular IT awareness training for all staff regarding best practices, security threats, how to avoid them, etc. o As-needed training for FieldFlo and other software
- Compliance o Stay informed and provide recommendations on industry best practices and compliance requirements related to information technology, data security/management, cybersecurity, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Database Management, Cybersecurity, or System Administration
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing any responsibilities outlined herein or a combination of industry certification or degree and experience.
- Experience in the construction, environmental services, or asbestos abatement industry is highly desirable.
- Experience managing a Microsoft 365 Business environment.
- Familiar with Ubiquiti networking equipment/hardware, physical access controls, and camera systems.
