The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, oversees and guides associates in maintaining high-quality exterior facility standards. This role ensures compliance with safety and operational policies while managing landscaping, seasonal maintenance, and equipment upkeep. The position involves coordinating work assignments, providing technical support, and fostering team development to meet business objectives. The Lead Technician also manages vendor relationships, budget preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility sustainability and efficiency. Strong project management and leadership skills are essential to successfully support facility operations and deliver exceptional service.About the team:

What you'll do: Supervise and support associates by assigning duties, providing feedback, and monitoring performance to ensure quality and safety standards. Train and coach team members on company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Manage landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, pest control, and seasonal snow and ice removal. Operate and maintain heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety checks and proper documentation. Coordinate equipment purchases, maintenance, and inventory to optimize resources and reduce costs. Lead team collaboration to meet business priorities and implement process improvements. What you'll bring: Proven leadership experience in supervising and developing teams within facility or exterior services. Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and exterior maintenance practices. Ability to manage compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and DOT. Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely. Experience in project and vendor management, including budgeting and procurement. Excellent communication skills to provide technical guidance and resolve customer concerns. Capability to leverage technology for work order management and documentation.
