Competitive retirement package to secure your future. Responsibilities Independently manages projects related to the Information Management System and its imaging component. Assists with soliciting, evaluating, prioritizing and incorporating changes to the functionality of the system to improve the clinical, research and educational operations. Oversees projects and system enhancements including: systems selection, testing, validation, employee training, installation and implementation to production. Works closely with equipment specialists to troubleshoot existing technical issues and test future software/hardware for compatibility with reporting and imaging systems. Troubleshoots and triages user and software problems and enhancements within the system. Runs database queries for customers. Provides technical, clinical and billing guidance to colleagues. Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for new technology efforts. Maintains knowledge and understanding of the imaging protocols or modalities. Advances knowledge of clinical, education and research practices by actively participating in committees or work groups at the laboratory, division, institution and enterprise level. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonographer program and 4 years cardiology experience with at least 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 8 years relevant technical experience required. Health-related Bachelor's degree preferred. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Cardiovascular Services. Extensive computer literacy required with working knowledge of relevant integrated clinical and digital image management systems. Health-related Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are required as are the ability to teach and problem solve. Relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Is self-motivated and works well with minimal direction. Interacts and communicates effectively with team members at multiple levels of the organization. Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail $39.86 - $59.84 / hour. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
