Job Description

Mid-Level Systems Administrator (F-15QA)
Company:
Boeing Aerospace Operations Government Training Services is looking for a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join the F-15QA Aircrew Training Services Team in Al-Udeid AB, Qatar. The selected candidate will support daily aircrew training and flight operations by maintaining and troubleshooting Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and Mission Debriefing System (MDS) software, hardware, and networking. The selected candidate will also be responsible for maintaining Data Transfer Modules (DTMs), assisting with daily physical security duties, some personnel security duties, and occasionally providing instruction on JMPS, MDS, and security-related topics. This position will be supporting the F-15QA Aircrew Training Services Foreign Military Sales contract in Qatar. This is a Long-Term Assignment to Al-Udeid AB, Qatar set until November 2027. Extension past this date is contingent upon contract renewal. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems Administers users' system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years' experience installing, troubleshooting, configuring, and administering Windows OS (Windows 10 and later) 3+ years' experience implementing, troubleshooting, and administering software in a Windows desktop environment 3+ years' experience providing basic network support and installing, troubleshooting, and configuring network devices such as switches, printers, and network-attached storage (NAS) devices 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Office suite Experience managing or working in a closed area/SCIF Experience delivering priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working overseas with foreign customers and/or foreign military personnel, especially in the Middle East region Experience using Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) or Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) software Experience giving briefings and/or classroom instruction on security related topics or application-specific software usage CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+ certification Military experience in an IT- or aviation-related field Willingness to work changing schedules based on operational requirements, sometimes including at night or holidays Long-term Assignment details: Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
