Job Description

Systems Administrator Arrow Audiology — Springfield, MO Full-time
  • On-site $80,000 - $100,000 a year About us Arrow Audiology operates retail audiology clinics and provides audiology services to ENT practices.
We're growing quickly, largely by acquiring established clinics and bringing them onto one platform and one set of standards. That growth is why this role exists. Every clinic that joins arrives with its own equipment, its own accounts, and its own idea of how IT works. Somebody has to turn that into one estate. Read this part first This is a hands-on job. You'd be the person who makes IT work across a growing clinic network: standing up new sites, running identity and devices, fixing what breaks, and turning the things you do twice into processes that run themselves the third time. You won't be doing it alone. We work with an outside managed services partner for monitoring, patching, and after-hours backup, and we use modern tooling to automate and document as much as we can. Your job is to own how the estate actually runs, not to be on call for everything. As the network grows, so may the team, and this role can grow with it. What you'll do
  • Stand up new clinic sites : hardware, accounts, software, connectivity. Get them working and get the staff productive fast.
  • Run identity and endpoint management day to day. Microsoft 365 is the backbone here: Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint. Accounts on, accounts off, devices enrolled and compliant.
  • Support clinic and corporate staff. Remote first, with some hands-on. Some of these calls come from someone with a patient in the room, and that changes how you triage.
  • Work through what we inherit. Each acquired clinic arrives different. Inventory what's there, sort out what needs sorting, and migrate it onto our standards without stopping anyone from seeing patients.
  • Implement the security work. MFA, access control, device compliance, offboarding that actually completes. The CTO sets the direction; you make it real across the estate and keep the evidence that it happened.
  • Work with our managed services partner. Coordinate escalations, review what their monitoring turns up, and make sure handoffs don't fall through the cracks.
  • Keep the runbooks current. Setup guides, the standard build, and how-tos, kept up as you go.
  • Handle vendors : circuits, hardware, licensing, whoever we're buying from. What we're looking for
  • 3-5 years in IT support or systems administration , ideally including more than one location.
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration , Entra ID and Intune specifically, not just the admin center basics.
  • Solid troubleshooting instincts. You narrow problems down methodically and find the cause rather than clearing the symptom.
  • Good judgment and ownership. You know when to fix it, when to escalate, and you follow through either way.
  • Genuine patience with non-technical people. A good part of this job is helpdesk, and we're not looking for someone who resents that.
  • Comfortable with tooling and automation , and happy to work alongside an outside support partner.
  • Valid driver's license. Some of this work happens at sites. Nice to have
  • Healthcare IT, or another regulated environment. HIPAA shapes real decisions here.
  • Experience picking up an environment after an acquisition or a consolidation
  • Networking across many small sites
  • Scripting, PowerShell in particular
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MS-102, MD-102, or similar Being straight with you This is the ground floor.
The IT function is being built, and you'd help build it. Volume is the constant. Acquisitions are the growth engine, and every one of them lands on IT eventually. The environments you inherit vary. Some will be well run and some won't, and a good part of your early months is finding out which is which. You'd report to the CTO , who is technical and hands-on and will give you direction on architecture and security. How the estate runs day to day would be yours.
