Job Description

Job Description Insight Global's client is seeking an experienced Atlassian Systems Administrator to support and optimize its enterprise Atlassian ecosystem. This position will serve as the team's primary Atlassian subject matter expert and will be responsible for administration, configuration, governance, integrations, and platform strategy across Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian Cloud products. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, comfortable working independently, and deeply experienced in modern Atlassian Cloud administration. This individual should be able to evaluate incoming requests, support complex configurations, and partner with internal teams to drive platform best practices. What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Jira, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem
  • Manage user provisioning, permissions, workflows, schemes, and configurations
  • Support internal teams with Atlassian platform troubleshooting and enhancements
  • Evaluate requests for new Jira workflows, projects, integrations, and platform improvements
  • Administer Atlassian Cloud environments and associated tooling
  • Manage ticket queues and stakeholder requests
  • Maintain governance, security, and platform best practices
  • Develop and maintain platform documentation and standards
  • Assist with third-party Atlassian integrations and marketplace applications

  • 5+ years of Atlassian Administration experience
  • Expert-level Jira Administration experience
  • Strong Confluence Administration experience
  • Experience supporting Atlassian Cloud environments
  • Experience developing and maintaining custom workflows, schemes, and configurations
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS administration
  • Strong understanding of permissions, governance, and access management
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Atlassian Cloud certifications
  • ScriptRunner experience
  • Experience with Jira marketplace applications and integrations
  • Experience building Jira automations
  • Experience supporting development teams and SDLC workflows
  • Airtable, Slack, or Google Workspace administration experience
  • Experience evaluating or implementing Atlassian Forge applications
