This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend software development expertise with comprehensive system administration responsibilities, ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust systems architecture, supporting diverse applications, and enhancing our technological capabilities through solution-oriented approaches. Your proactive mindset and technical proficiency will drive efficiency, security, and scalability across our digital environment. Duties Develop, test, and deploy software solutions using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting to meet evolving business needs. Manage and optimize IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware, ESXi), and cloud services (AWS, Azure). Oversee system administration tasks such as configuring RAID controllers, managing system architecture, and ensuring high availability through load balancing and clustering techniques. Design and implement scalable solutions utilizing microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Maintain network security by configuring firewalls, VPNs, DNS settings, DHCP services, and implementing information security best practices to safeguard data integrity. Administer databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server with skills in T-SQL and PL/SQL for efficient data management. Support DevOps practices by setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git version control system, scripting automation with Bash or Shell scripts, and managing code repositories. Ensure compliance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards while continuously improving system design through Agile methodologies. Qualifications Proven experience in system administration combined with software development skills across multiple platforms including Windows and Linux environments. Strong knowledge of system architecture principles including RAID controllers, load balancing strategies, virtualization (VMware/ESXi), and containerization (Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications. Familiarity with networking concepts like DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and computer networking protocols. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python; scripting skills in Bash or Shell; experience with RESTful APIs; knowledge of NoSQL databases like NoSQL solutions for high-performance applications. Understanding of solution architecture principles within a service-oriented architecture framework for designing resilient systems. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices related to information security measures across enterprise environments. Experience working within Agile development teams using tools like Jenkins for automation; version control systems such as Git; CI/CD pipelines; and SDLC processes.
