Position Overview:
Provide end-user IT support for customers in a broad range of administrative, instructional and research environments. Recommend solutions to support IT needs. Onboard new faculty and staff. Train customers on basic functions of applications. Respond to support request calls and emails.
Essential Job Functions:
Create and maintain a wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using respectful, person-first language, documentation, and interactions. Provide the highest quality customer service to all employees and customers as follows: be friendly, respond promptly, know your service, listen to and get to know our staff and customers, be open to asking, receiving and using feedback, create positive work relationships, always follow up with assignments and be curious. Maintain a culture of compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, laws, and high ethical standards. Desktop Support Install new computer hardware. Prepare new computers for deployment and reload existing computers using standard vendor operating system images. Install new software applications and apply software updates. Build and update group policy objects in Active Directory. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, security, and network problems. Coordinate vendor repairs of computers, printers, and other devices. Maintain inventories of computers, software licenses and related supplies. Monitor the ticket queues used by the team and prioritize daily tasks to maintain support continuity. Server and System Administration Administer local and cloud-based servers to provide file shares, manage access, apply patches, and apply firmware updates. Maintain server accounts and permissions. Assist users with file management for local and server storage. Ensure that scheduled backups of system and data files on servers and desktops are running appropriately. Perform data restores as requested. Specialize and have solid knowledge in IT with the Microsoft Office 365 system, applications & application support. Experience in managing Active Directory (AD) permissions, Office 365 permissions and permissions via Azure Sync Services. Support the organization's electronic health record (EMR) system and mobile device platforms, including user account management, access configuration and resolution of technical issues while maintaining HIPAA and organizational security standards.
Responsibilities:
Maintain desktop and laptop equipment, peripherals, and other IT related hardware. Diagnose, replace, upgrade and repair hardware issues. Provide end-user application and software support. Maintain Office 365 accounts, access, reconciliation, and licensing. Maintain IT assets and equipment inventory.
Preferred Skills:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, or Microsoft Exchange 2+ years real-word experience implementing production Azure analytics platforms. MCSA and/or MCSE certification in Microsoft Office 365 preferred. Azure certifications preferred.
Primary Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of extensive Exchange/Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 implementation and support experience. Provide overall Office365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory. Permissions (Azure Active Directory ' Security & Compliance Center ' Exchange Online)

Three to five years of experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies such as: Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive Three to five years of experience providing remote Help Desk support. Certifications are a plus (Microsoft preferred)
