Job Description

Responsibilities The Procurement Systems Specialist will have responsibility for supplier quality activities and operational efficiency of the various procurement technologies. This role will enhance our internal supplier quality program in alignment with the corporate Quality Management System guidelines. In addition, the role will embed technology efficiencies across operational sourcing platforms to optimize spend and drive value capture. This role will interact with the global sourcing organization as well as corporate and business unit stakeholders to deliver results. This role will report to the Manager of Procurement Technology Enablement.

Qualifications Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business/Supply Chain or related field. Relevant experience in lieu of bachelor's degree will be considered.
  • Preferred experience collaborating with Sourcing/Supply Chain Planning and Quality functional areas Additional Qualifications
  • Must have the ability to multitask with strong time/priority management skills.
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively in person, via Teams (virtually), phone and via email.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office with experience in Coupa or analytical software (i.e., Sigma, Snowflake, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Should possess intermediate organization, facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Should possess intermediate stress management and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to represent Avient professionally and ethically in meetings with external parties and to set the standard for integrity and collaboration in internal meetings.
  • Demonstrated process improvement and change management skills. Physical Demands

  • Must be able to walk and use hands
