Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Information Technology individual who will be effective at assisting with IT at The Lorain County Board of Elections. This position will consist of guiding the work involving IT and serving as the liaison between our IT vendors and the Ohio Secretary of State. Assignments will include working with the voter registration database and other election databases, ensuring information is posted on the Lorain County Board of Elections website in a timely manner and maintaining the overall function of all IT hardware in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing and enforcing all Secretary of State Security Directives. Maintaining an inventory of all IT related equipment. Troubleshooting workstation computers, computer software, hardware issues, and more. Keeping all equipment updated. Monitoring reports from vendors. Maintaining the operation of the phone system. On-boarding and off-boarding employees. Keeping security cameras operational and retrieving footage when requested. Assisting with copy machine troubleshooting.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
