Job Description

American Honda Motor Co., Inc., a leader in automotive and mobility solutions, seeks an IT Infrastructure Administrator to support its U.S. manufacturing and corporate operations. In this role, you will administer and optimize servers, networks, storage, and cloud services to ensure secure, reliable, and high performance systems. You will manage backups, patching, and disaster recovery, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross functional teams in an innovation driven, safety focused environment. Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and optimize on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations Administer Windows/Linux servers, storage, and virtualization platforms Ensure high availability, performance, and security of networks and systems Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions Perform system patching, upgrades, and configuration management Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and performance issues Collaborate with security, application, and manufacturing teams on projects and problem-solving Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and runbooks Support infrastructure capacity planning and scalability initiatives Participate in on-call rotation and support change management processes Required Skills Windows Server administration Linux system administration VMware or other virtualization platforms TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, and switching Firewall and VPN configuration Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) Backup and disaster recovery solutions Monitoring and logging tools Scripting/automation (Power Shell, Bash, or similar) Identity and access management (Active Directory, Group Policy)
