Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Service Administrator to support the daily operations of our Commercial Roofing Service Department. The Service Administrator plays an important role in coordinating service work from the initial customer request through scheduling, documentation, and completion. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service requests and priorities at once. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the Service Department and assist with day-to-day service operations. Create and maintain work orders for service and repair projects. Schedule and dispatch service crews based on customer needs, crew availability, and job priorities. Communicate with customers regarding service requests, scheduling, job status, and other service-related questions. Review scopes of work and prepare pricing for customers. Coordinate service work with field personnel and ensure necessary information is communicated to crews. Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate service documentation. Organize and maintain the annual roof inspection schedule. Track open service requests and follow up as needed to help ensure work is completed in a timely manner. Maintain organized and accurate customer and project records. Assist with additional administrative and Service Department responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional and friendly customer-service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable working with computers, email, and standard office software. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field crews, and other members of the company. Previous administrative, scheduling, dispatching, construction, or service-industry experience is preferred but not required. This position works closely with both customers and our field teams, so reliability, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are important.
